2011 Events
June 22, 2011. The Shirley Democratic Town Committee met at the Town Office Building. Guest Sue Kennedy, State Committee representative, presented ideas about attracting new members to the committee and improving attendance at meetings.
April 10, 2011. The M & W Democratic Coalition Breakfast was held at the Portuguese Club in Hudson, MA. At this event, Charline Oelfke was given the Democratic Activist of the Year Award for Shirley, MA. Here are some photos from this event.

March 30, 2011. The Shirley Democratic Town Committee met at the Town Offices and elected Charline Oelfke to be their Activist of the Year. They also discussed the upcoming state convention and other business.
February 5 , 2011. The Shirley Democratic Town Committee held a caucus to elect delegates to attend the Massachusetts State Convention on June 4, 2011, at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA. The following people were elected delegates: Bonnie Jo Collins, Robert Huxley, and Dolores Guercio. Chairman Chip Guercio will also go to the convention as an ex-officio delegate. Elected an alternate delegate was Elizabeth Keddy. State Representative Jen Benson attended the caucus as a guest. She shared information about her new committee assignments at the State House.
